New jersey for the Roughnecks
Earlier this week The Calgary Herald had a picture in their paper of the new Calgary Roughneck jersey for the 2007 season. This came as an unexpected surprise to many fans. So, for those of you that don’t have subscriptions to The Calgary Herald and didn’t make it to the first exhibition game, here is what the new jersey’s look like.
As you can see, the biggest change is that the predominant red of the old jersey has been replaced with black. Not as large a change as I was expecting to see after hearing about the article in The Herald. This may be why there didn’t seem to be much buzz about the jersey change before or after it was revealed.
