Videos from game #9
Ah, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like watching video’s of lacrosse. I also don’t know why my camera was acting up last night and not focusing when I was trying to take some still shots. Since that was the case, I thought I’d take video of last weekends game since my little Canon Powershot has the capability to do so.
Disclaimer: Although my hand was steadier than the McNish Stachniak fight video, there certainly isn’t any stabilizing mechanisms in my camera. Some of the video may be a bit blurry or seem a bit distant even though I’m in row 8 in section 122. Unfortunately my camera won’t let me zoom in after I’ve started recording.
I think I’ll start off with some footage of Jason Wulder scoring his second goal of the game.
Now maybe a little halftime hijinks from Derrick and the boys in sumo suits.
Followed by the Tracey Kelusky, Jay Jalbert fight — which, by the way, happened because Jalbert was taking some liberties with how he was swinging his stick after the play had been stopped.
During the intermission between the third and fourth quarters Derrick brought out a fan that was in the middle of his bachelor party. They went out into the arena and put on a nice little show for us.
As mentioned in the Game #9 post, the final two minutes of the game was intense. Here is the last 25 seconds.
And of course, the game winning goal by Lewis Ratcliff. I actually missed the goal because it seemed each time I kept my camera ready it would jinx the boys. This video is the jumbotron replay.
